Responsibilities

• Participating in shift start-up meetings with your department team.
• Communicate current priorities and targets, any ongoing issues, process updates, expectations, quality goals and any additional relevant information pertaining to your department.
• Attend daily recap production/shipping meeting when Supervisor is not present.
• Direct hourly employees and assigns and coordinates daily production activities.
• Determines and may develop methods and procedures to improve productivity and quality.
• Always utilize efficient and effective flow process of WIP.
• Prepare daily productivity reports.
• Evaluate issues and potential problems proactively in a timely manner.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping duties are assigned and completed daily.
• Maintain open communication with hourly reports regarding goals and accomplishments.
• Monitor department KPI’s for results and trends.
• Develop contingencies and short-term processes as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks that affect area goals or standards.
• Develop hourly employees through training, coaching and mentoring.

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Lead for Materials within the Manufacturing area at one of our clients focused on the data center solutions industry for contract positions that may go full time based on performance.

This position is “hands-on” and results driven with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. This department oversees the installation, routing, and management of complex data center cabling systems within server racks.

This departmentoversees the assembly, integration, and testing of data center rack systems, ensuring high-quality production, adherence to build plans, and meeting customer deadlines.

Day Shift 6:45 - 3:15
Payrate: $25 per hour
Swing Shift 3:45 - 12:15
Payrate: $26.50

Responsibilities:
