Sekisui Aerospace is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer III in Renton, WA to lead advanced materials research and manufacturing process development. You will work with engineering, production, and supply chain to mature technologies and enable scalable, production-ready solutions.

You will manage DoE studies, evaluate materials, and collaborate across SEKISUI Group R&D teams to deliver reliable aerospace products while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a materials/manufacturing related field.
• 10+ years of R&D in a manufacturing environment or related engineering.
• Experience in development of composite materials and constituents.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple R&D projects with focus on advanced materials and technology maturation.
• Develop and optimize composite manufacturing processes and qualification activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up materials and processes for production.
