Job summary

UK Power Networks in London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with commercial acumen to manage high-value contracts within the Capital Programme. You will lead commercial activities, review tender submissions and ensure contractual compliance under NEC3 frameworks.

Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate with programme, design, planning, and procurement teams while maintaining cost reporting and risk registers to support project delivery that keeps London connected.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in quantity surveying or a relevant business discipline.
• Experience managing complex, high-value and varied contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor ADP and tender submissions, tender documentation and activity schedules; participate in interviews and tender analysis.
• Manage contract set-up, pricing, delivery, scope change, compliance and disputes; ensure reporting requirements are met.
• Agree or reject CENs, CEQs and maintain Work Order Tracker dashboards; manage risks and opportunities.
• Prepare dispute documentation and recommend proportionate resolution strategies; work with legal advisers when required.
