Job summary

JPMorganChase's Asset & Wealth Management Finance group seeks a senior leader to own and evolve quantitative forecasting tools powering stress tests and BAU exercises. You will shape Python-based tooling, lead a skilled team of developers and data scientists, and engage senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Technology.

The role emphasizes end-to-end platform delivery, governance, and production-grade pipelines, with opportunities to prototype GenAI-enabled solutions and drive controls

Qualifications

• 8+ years in quantitative analytics, model development, or financial forecasting.
• Strong Python engineering skills with production-grade pipelines.
• Experience productionizing quantitative forecasting models.
• Ownership of end-to-end platform used by business users, including production support.
• Experience in stakeholder-heavy environments, clarifying requirements and decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading and developing a team of engineers or data scientists.
• Understanding of controls and MDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the roadmap for forecasting tools supporting stress test and BAU exercises, including intake, prioritization, delivery planning, and release management
• Ensure tooling is robust, scalable, auditable, and fit-for-purpose across recurring production cycles
• Establish and maintain standards for code quality, documentation, testing, and operational readiness
• Implement quantitative models in Python, translating requirements into production-grade pipelines
• Partner with model risk and governance stakeholders for documentation, testing evidence and change management
• Identify, prototype, and productionize GenAI applications to improve productivity with guardrails
• Serve as the accountable owner for forecasting tool deliverables and governance routines
• Translate technical details into clear outcomes and risks for non-technical audiences
• Lead and develop a team of quantitative developers and data scientists
• Coach engineers on CI/CD, testing, packaging, and environment management
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, lineage, access, and MDLC runbooks, with incident response
