Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Quality Systems Engineer to develop, lead, and continuously improve our QMS across satellite production and mission-critical hardware programs. This role drives AS9100D compliance, audit readiness, and systemic process improvement in partnership with Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and Program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related fields.
• 5-7+ years in a quality systems role with responsibility for QMS implementation, audit leadership, and CAPA management.
• Expert knowledge of AS9100D and/or ISO 9001:2015 in a complex, high‑reliability product environment and navigating audits.
• Demonstrated leadership in systemic investigations and deployment of RCA methodologies (8D, A3, 5‑Why, etc).
• Proven ability to prioritize quality initiatives based on business risk, COPQ, and strategic goals.
• Requires ability to obtain US Security Clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and manage the execution of the QMS and its top-level processes.
• Build and maintain the internal QMS roadmap for tools, capabilities, and processes.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain to develop processes and digital tools for QMS requirements.
• Become a systems expert for QMS tools, processes, and data sets.
