Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Lincoln, New Hampshire seeks a Lead Quality Manager to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and to serve as the functional quality leader for NH operations. You will drive standardization, metric-driven performance, and sustained quality improvements across four NH sites, including audits and supplier quality management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum seven years of progressive quality experience with ISO 9001 in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead site quality operations across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, root cause analysis, corrective action, risk assessment, internal auditing, supplier quality, SPC, calibration, inspection systems, and QMS documentation.
• Experience with UL, CSA, NUPIC, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, process capability, Lean Six Sigma, SAP QM, Power BI, or ASQ certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, data analysis, organizational, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lincoln Quality organization and maintain controlled procedures, work instructions, records, quality objectives, inspection systems, product release, and nonconforming material disposition.
• Provide functional leadership to Quality Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Auditors, Technicians, Inspectors across NH operations.
• Establish standardized quality systems, metrics, problem-solving expectations, best practices, and performance reviews across NH sites.
• Support implementation and sustainment of Hubbell Manufacturing System by leading quality compliance and corrective actions.
• Prepare for and lead audits; ensure corrective actions are timely and effective.
• Lead containment, root cause analysis, ownership, verification of effectiveness, and recurrence prevention of quality issues.
• Manage customer complaints, warranty performance, supplier quality issues, quality risk assessments, PFMEAs, and control plans.
• Review Engineering Change Notifications to ensure updates to drawings, specs, procedures, and inspection plans.
• Develop and maintain NPD and product transfer quality plans with CTQ and launch-readiness requirements.
• Identify Critical to Quality characteristics for applicable parts and family parts and incorporate into quality plans and documents.
• Analyze quality data, trends, Pareto results, customer PPM, internal nonconformances, supplier performance, scrap, FTY, CoPQ, audit performance, and corrective action effectiveness.
• Develop and mentor Quality team through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
