Job summary

The HEICO Companies, LLC seeks a Quality Engineer to support the plant's QMS, execute audits, and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, suppliers, and customers to improve product quality and process performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, and proficiency with PPAP/ PFMEA/ MSA/ SPC. Strong problem solving and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required.
Minimum five (5) years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 required.
Strong knowledge of QMS, auditing principles, and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Execute plant quality auditing activities and conduct internal quality system and process audits.
Serve as Lead Auditor for plant quality system and process audits.
Organize and coordinate plant calibration activities.
Supervise and schedule the plant's hourly specialty testers.
Participate in disposition of internal nonconformances and external customer returns (RGAs).
Lead and participate in disciplined problem-solving using 8D, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis.
Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage MOC process to evaluate and mitigate quality risks.
Perform MSA and Gage R&R studies.
Implement and maintain data collection systems for critical quality metrics.
