Job summary

NW Construction is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for heavy civil construction projects. The role leads project-specific quality programs, coordinates testing and inspections, and ensures compliance with contract documents and industry standards.

The QCM collaborates with project management, superintendents, testing agencies, and owner representatives to achieve quality delivery and safe project execution across Western U.S. relocation is expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience managing quality control on construction projects.
• Willing to travel and relocate to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plans.
• Coordinate testing and inspections with owners, testers, and subcontractors.
• Review plans and submittals to ensure contract compliance and quality standards.
• Document meeting minutes, nonconforming work, and corrective actions.
• Serve as primary quality representative on site and stop work if needed.
