Job summary

P&F Industries in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Lead Quality Inspector I to verify incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet engineering drawings, specs, and customer requirements.

You will lead and mentor Quality Inspectors, support production, and drive continuous improvement through accurate inspection data, NCR containment, and calibration records. Strong GD&T knowledge and experience with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred.
• 5+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with blueprint reading and advanced inspection techniques.
• Training in quality systems and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards.
• Enforce customer quality flow-down requirements and ensure compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Quality Inspectors on inspection methods and tolerances.
• Maintain inspection reports, FAIs, calibration records, and traceability for QMS readiness.
• Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
