Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will lead and mentor a team of inspectors, performing in-process, final, and First Article Inspections on advanced UAS and defense assets.

A deep background in aerospace structures, avionics, or propulsion, plus proven leadership, is required. You will collaborate across Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Quality Engineering to resolve bottlenecks and ensure ultra-high standards of safety and reliability

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience in an aerospace, defense, military, or high-reliability hardware testing environment.
U.S. Person Status is required as this position needs to access controlled data.

Responsibilities

Lead & Mentor: Coordinate daily team activities, schedules, and workflows; assist inspectors in following procedures and meeting standards.
Collaborate Cross-Functional: Interface with Shipping, Receiving, Production, Quality Engineering, and Planning to resolve bottlenecks.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Maintain 5S, train staff, and develop a skilled inspector workforce.
Technical Inspection: Perform in-process, final, and First Article Inspections using metrology tools, drawings, and blueprints.
Problem Solve: Guide production decisions using quality principles.
