Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Lead Quality Inspector to join our growing manufacturing team. You will lead and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors to produce advanced Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and other defense assets for strategic military and commercial customers.

This hands-on role blends frontline technical expertise with strong leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in aerospace structures, avionics, or propulsion systems, with a proven track record of

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in aerospace/defense/high-reliability hardware testing environment.
• U.S. Person Status required to access controlled data.
• Experience reading and interpreting complex drawings, blueprints, and specs using ASME Y14.5 GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors.
• Perform in-process, final, and FAI inspections using metrology tools.
• Collaborate with Shipping, Receiving, Production, QE, and Planning to resolve bottlenecks.
• Maintain 5S and a clean, safe production area.
• Identify and solve production issues using quality principles.
