Job summary

Nemera, a leading global manufacturer of drug delivery systems, seeks a Lead Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) in Buffalo Grove, IL. You will supervise QC inspectors, release batches, and ensure compliance with cgmp standards in a cleanroom setting.

The role requires an associate degree or 3 years of related experience with leadership exposure, strong documentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or minimum of 3 years related work experience with one year in a leadership role.
• Must be able to perform all quality inspector functional job responsibilities.
• Good working knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and other techniques to maximize effectiveness.
• Knowledge of inspection tools, use, and maintenance required.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs; sit, stand, and walk 80% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operational Quality Manager in coordinating objectives with Lead Quality Inspectors to maximize product quality and efficiency.
• Direct and coordinate activities of Quality Inspectors evaluating goods.
• Perform all duties of the Quality Inspector.
• Plan work schedules for QC inspectors to meet production goals.
• Read charts and records to determine resource requirements and timing.
• Review data for accuracy and ensure processing meets time expectations.
• Analyze statistical data to improve standards and inspection methods.
• Oversee nonconforming product and manage daily material disposition.
• Ensure batch release and CoC/CoA creation.
