Nemera VH seeks a Lead Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift in Vernon Hills, IL. The role is hourly with a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule, reporting to the Operational Quality Manager in the VH Quality Inspection group.

Responsibilities include coordinating QC activity, batch release, LRP compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement. Requires leadership experience and QA knowledge in a cleanroom manufacturing setting.

Formación

• Associates Degree or minimum 3 years related work experience with one year in a leadership role.
• Must be able to perform all quality inspector duties.
• Good working knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and other techniques to maximize effectiveness. Knowledge of inspection tools, use, and maintenance required.
• Self-directed with planning and organizing skills; able to lift up to 35 lbs; sit/stand/walk 80% of shift.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Operational Quality Manager in coordinating objectives with Lead Quality Inspectors to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Direct and coordinate activities of Quality Inspectors evaluating goods.
• Perform all functions of a Quality Inspector.
• Plan and establish work schedules for QC inspectors to meet production goals.
• Review data and documentation for accuracy within time expectations.
• Analyze statistics to improve standards and quality plans.
• Oversee nonconforming product and material disposition.
• Responsible for batch release and CoC/CoA creation.
• Ensure LRP compliance and proper startup requirements.
