Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the day-to-day management of our quality systems for electromechanical assemblies in the SF Bay Area. You will ensure supplier and internal processes meet ISO 9001 standards and drive corrective actions across functions.

The role requires extensive experience in quality engineering and electromechanical manufacturing, with on-site work, collaboration with engineering and operations, and interaction with suppliers to ensure product quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Some local travel to suppliers in the SF Bay Area.
• 100% On-site role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization to improve overall quality.
• Monitor quality KPIs and implement mitigations.
• Report on the Quality Management System status to upper management.
• Oversee incoming inspection systems and processes.
• Lead supplier quality and supplier audits.
• Perform APQP with suppliers for new parts.
• Coordinate corrective actions and MRB processes.
• Develop quality assurance training programs.
