Job summary

Yahoo Sports is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer (Finance) to architect scalable test automation across Web and mobile, leveraging AI-driven pipelines to accelerate script generation and diagnosis. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
7+ years in Quality Engineering/SDET roles with leadership experience.
Hands-on with AI-assisted development/testing tools.
Deep expertise in test automation frameworks (Playwright/Appium/Cypress/Selenium).
Strong coding skills (Python/TypeScript/Java) and CI/CD integration.
Experience with mobile and web apps, REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, observability.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks across Web and mobile platforms.
Deploy AI-driven test automation pipelines to generate test cases and data.
Build automated diagnostic engines using observability tools to analyze failures and flaky tests.
Integrate functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to embed testability and risk mitigation early in SDLC.
Drive AI-assisted defect triage and release risk assessments.
