Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners represents a civil construction firm seeking a Quality Control Manager to own quality on assigned projects across the US. The role ensures all work meets contract requirements, specs, and industry standards, coordinating inspections, testing, and documentation with field teams and subs to keep schedules intact.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• CQMC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain submittal logs, QC reports, and as-built drawings.
• Review plans, submittals, and specifications for compliance.
• Lead weekly QC meetings and prepare daily QC reports addressing non-conformances.
• Conduct preconstruction and follow-up meetings to set and enforce quality standards.
• Inspect materials, work phases, and subcontractor performance for compliance.
• Schedule and track inspections, testing, and commissioning of project systems.
• Manage punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout docs including O&M manuals and warranties.
• Halt work when necessary to address safety or quality concerns.
