Position Description:
The Lead Quality Control Engineer (LQCE) manages the QC process on projects, exercising judgment in making quality control recommendations, implementing policies, and handling related matters in the field and office. They may mentor less-experienced QC engineers or perform QC activities on multiple projects. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Position Qualifications:
Physical Work Classification & Demands:
Moderate exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly. Activities include walking, kneeling, sitting, crouching, reaching, stooping, reading, speaking, pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, and typing, with varying frequency.
Additional physical demands include climbing ladders and scaffolding, maintaining balance, stooping, and operating vehicles as certified. Exposure to high/low temperatures, noisy environments, and outdoor elements is expected.
Work involves significant computer use, reading blueprints, taking measurements, and communicating with team members and stakeholders.
