Location: Remote

Rate: $100/hr on W2

Job Description:

The Principal SAP SAC Reporting Configuration Engineer will analyze, develop, and configure SAP reporting tools within the Record to Report (R2R) team for the OneGL program. Responsibilities include supporting production users, configuring, testing, training, and maintaining the finance environment for month-end close processes. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving, mentoring, and leadership in complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure SAP modules based on design specifications, demonstrating deep understanding of transactions and configuration options.
• Coordinate interdependencies within modules to ensure seamless development.
• Document architecture and standards.
• Assist with development in business processes, including interfaces, conversions, and customizations.
• Participate in development efforts internally and offshore.
• Identify and recommend process improvements addressing complex gaps.
• Consult on design elements for new business processes and package applications.
• Develop complex test scripts, coordinate testing, and troubleshoot defects.
• Support implementation activities including post-go-live support and transition planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of SAP Finance experience, with at least 2-3 years in reporting analysis, development, or consulting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP reporting tools (SAC, Webi, AO).
• Experience with CDS views using ABAP in Eclipse.
• Strong understanding of financial transactional flow and SAP GL concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Analytical skills and experience working with ambiguous information.
• Knowledge of agile development processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training in SAP reporting modules.
• Experience in Insurance or Finance industries.
• Experience with FPSL, FI/CO, PaPM modules.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 Embedded Analytics, SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP HANA, OData services, data modeling, and ETL processes.
