Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QM-QA team across the SF East Bay sites (San Leandro and Livermore). This onsite role drives the Quality Management System, strategizes quality initiatives, and mentors engineers to ensure products meet regulatory and customer expectations.

Responsibilities include overseeing CAPA, audits, and process validation while advancing Lean/Six Sigma practices and cross-functional collaboration. relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• ,I'm passing
• Five or more years in QA in manufacturing/tech.
• ISO Lead Assessor experience.
• QMS standards such as ISO 9001/14001/45001/17025 and FDA GCMP.
• Welding/AWS certification knowledge.
• Strong quality methodologies: pFMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, 8D, Six Sigma, LEAN.
• Data analysis and SPC proficiency.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and mentor Quality Engineers and Managers.
• Define quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee cross-functional teams for systemic quality issue resolution.
• Coordinate with global sites on customer quality issues and CAPA.
