Job summary

Airtech is seeking a Quality Assurance Technical Lead to oversee chemical evaluation, laboratory testing, and data-driven decision-making. You will partner with QA, Production, and R&D to validate materials, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement on site.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, method development, and rigorous documentation, with on-site work schedule and a commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years in lab/quality in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
• Strong background in analytical chemistry, material testing, or polymer/composite systems.
• Proven experience with root cause analysis, investigations, and technical problem-solving.
• Experience developing or optimizing test methods and interpreting lab data.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for chemical and material testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Develop, validate, and improve laboratory test methods.
• Lead root cause investigations and design experiments to identify failure modes.
• Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support R&D, scale-up, and process optimization with QA and production.
