Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance engineer to design and drive testing across enterprise AI-enabled applications, APIs, and cloud services from Plano, TX. You will mentor teams, shape quality strategy, and partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, testing, or quality assurance.
• Experience designing and executing manual and automated testing across web, cloud, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with performance, security, and regression testing methodologies.
• Understanding of AI engineering concepts including LLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI system validation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar programming languages, with experience supporting Agile and CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for enterprise applications, AI-powered solutions, APIs, and system integrations.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate functionality, reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Validate AI and machine learning solutions, including accuracy, model behavior, data quality, prompt performance, and responsible AI requirements.
