AT&T in Plano, Texas is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for enterprise applications, AI-powered solutions, APIs, and system integrations.

You will build automated testing frameworks for CI/CD, validate AI models and data quality, lead complex testing across large-scale projects, mentor teammates, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and vendors to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SWE, Info Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in software quality engineering or QA.
• Experience designing and executing manual and automated tests across web, cloud, mobile, and enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures.
• Experience with performance, security, and regression testing methods.
• Understanding of AI engineering concepts including LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and AI validation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with CI/CD experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for enterprise applications, AI-powered solutions, APIs, and system integrations.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test cases to validate functionality, reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Validate AI and machine learning solutions, including accuracy, model behavior, data quality, prompt performance, and responsible AI requirements.
• Perform performance, load, stress, and security testing to ensure applications meet standards.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution with retesting.
• Collaborate with software engineers, AI engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure testable, high-quality solutions.
• Build and enhance automated testing frameworks that support CI/CD environments.
• Develop testing approaches for AI agents, LLM integrations, and intelligent automation.
