Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QE Automation & Performance Testing professional for Life & Annuities Insurance. You will lead quality engineering activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and work with offshore teams to ensure high-quality digital solutions.

Responsibilities include test management, automation asset development, and hands-on testing across functional, API, and mobile domains, with a hybrid work arrangement in Addison, Texas.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance.
• Strong experience in the Life & Annuities insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca is preferred.
• Experience with test management, Agile delivery practices, Jira, defect management, and end-to-end test coordination.
• Hands-on experience with functional, API, mobile, and mobile automation testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering activities for the Life & Annuities domain, coordinating with stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Apply structured test management to develop traceable test scenarios and reusable data.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation assets to reduce manual effort.
• Perform hands-on functional, automation, performance, mobile, and API testing based on project requirements.
• Coordinate defect triage, validate fixes, and report risk and release readiness.
