Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX is seeking a Domain Lead for Quality Engineering to own end-to-end quality across multiple business domains. You will lead and inspire QE delivery teams, drive test strategy, and collaborate with engineering, business, and vendors to ensure quality objectives are met.

You will mentor teams, advance test automation, and shape quality practices while reporting to the Head of Quality Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 14+ years of progressive technology experience in QE, software testing, engineering, or related disciplines.
• 3–5 years of proven technical leadership experience leading a geographically dispersed, global workforce.
• Life & Annuity insurance industry experience.
• Strong QE knowledge and ability to lead complex initiatives.
• Experience with automated testing tools and Agentic AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead QE delivery teams by example and motivate QE delivery teams.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation and shared responsibility for quality.
• Oversee the definition and execution of test plans and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor outsourced, global team capacity and address constraints and risks.
• Mature test automation portfolio and promote transparency of testing activities.
• Communicate quality metrics and progress to senior management.
