Job summary

RayzeBio is seeking a qualified Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily QC microbiology activities at our Indianapolis site. The role ensures data integrity, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with manufacturing and QA teams to support radiopharmaceutical production and product release.

The position requires a BS in Microbiology (MS preferred), 5+ years in a cGMP setting, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Microbiology or related life science required.
• MS preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in QC Microbiology within a cGMP environment.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience supporting sterile manufacturing/radiopharmaceutical operations desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QC Microbiology activities (sterility, bioburden, endotoxin testing).
• Ensure testing aligns with SOPs, validated methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and verify microbiological data and records for ALCOA+ data integrity.
• Train and mentor QC analysts; assign workloads to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, Facilities, and Radiation Safety to support product release.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within QC Microbiology.
