Sound Decisions is seeking a QA Engineer to lead QA strategy across our fintech and e-commerce software products. You’ll own test planning, automate where possible, and partner with engineering, product, and support to raise quality across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in software QA, strong testing and defect management skills, and experience with Jira, Git, and CI/CD. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and help shape quality culture.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in software quality assurance for API and non-API apps.
• Proven track record leading QA teams and improving processes.
• Strong FinTech and e-commerce domain knowledge.
• Experience with test planning, regression testing, and defect management.

Aufgaben

• Own and evolve the overall QA strategy across products and platforms.
• Design and execute test plans for new products, enhancements, and existing functionality.
• Lead a shift-left quality mindset by participating early in planning and requirements discussions.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with details for reproduction.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes address root causes.
• Build robust coverage across happy path, edge cases, and non-happy paths.
• Drive adoption of test automation and integrate tests into CI/CD workflows.
• Provide recommendations to improve regression coverage, tooling, and processes.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, quality risks, and metrics.
