Job summary
PingWind is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to design and drive comprehensive test plans and automation. You will manage defect tracking, ensure quality across AWS-hosted applications, and lead a QA team in implementing Cypress end-to-end tests within Azure DevOps pipelines.
The ideal candidate has 8-10 years QA experience, 5+ years in a senior role, and a strong background in Cypress, AWS testing, and CI/CD practices. Active Secret clearance is required for US government projects.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- 5+ years in a Senior or Lead capacity
- Hands-on test automation experience with Cypress
- Experience with Selenium or Appium a plus
- US citizenship required
- AWS testing experience
- Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
- Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases
- Lead QA initiatives and mentor junior team members
- Develop and maintain Cypress end-to-end test suites
- Test applications deployed in AWS environments
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines
- Track defects using Azure DevOps or JIRA
