Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions, a GovCon-focused technology company, is looking for a QA Test Engineer to join our remote team in the United States. The role emphasizes test planning, manual testing, and the development of automated tests using Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, and REST API testing against microservices.

You will collaborate in an Agile environment with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure defect-free software that meets accessibility and security standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software quality assurance and testing experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, writing, and executing automated test scripts for enterprise-scale web applications.
• Proven experience testing SPAs built with modern frameworks (React/Angular) and backends built with .NET or Java.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, manual testing, and UAT to validate system behavior against requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and API tests; integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document, track, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps and logs.
