Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Lead, Software Engineering Quality Assurance to ensure cloud-based managed services meet quality, reliability and performance standards. You will define test strategies, create test plans and work with squads to test features end-to-end.

The role emphasizes automation, defect tracking, and mentoring other QA engineers, with opportunities to grow and influence testing practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience testing complex software products for large enterprise customers in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of QA processes, standards, tools and technologies.
• Experience with testing and delivering complex features/products for web-based enterprise apps and automating UI, CLI, and API testing.
• Practical knowledge of open-source automation tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; collaborative communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution and maintenance of automated test suites for acceptance, functional and regression testing.
• Develop, communicate and improve test strategies, specifications and plans based on design docs and requirements.
• Document and communicate defects to developers to facilitate fixes and ensure quality.
