Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 6 years of experience in SDET or automation-focused roles.
• QA lead or key contributor on complex cross-functional projects.
• Hands-on testing experience—manual and automated.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and testing best practices.
• Deep knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with API testing (RESTful and SOAP) and system integrations.
• Solid software development fundamentals: OOP and design principles.
• Experience with Jira, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Copado).
• Collaborative with distributed teams across locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance to QA engineers and SDETs.
• Lead QA efforts across onshore and offshore teams and vendors.
• Define and execute test strategies aligned with project scope and timelines.
• Plan, estimate, and ensure adequate testing coverage.
• Oversee manual and automated testing across functional areas.
• Drive test automation adoption and framework maintenance.
• Track defects through lifecycle and perform root cause analysis.
• Support release readiness and QA sign-off based on quality criteria.
• Leverage AI-driven testing approaches to improve efficiency.
