Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Lead to drive automated testing across web and mobile apps in a fast-paced environment. You will design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automation strategies using Selenium with Java, TestNG, and Page Object Model.

You will also collaborate with Developers, BAs, and Product Owners to shift testing left and ensure robust quality across releases. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in systems or app development, strong Java/OOP skills, and experience

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in systems or application development.
• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA from a reputed university; Computer Science background preferred.
• OOPS programming concepts and experience in Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA automation efforts for web and mobile applications.
• Test application functionality end to end, automate regression test suite and report results.
• Expertise in creating Automation Test scripts using Selenium with Java using TestNG and Page Object Model design pattern.
• Plan, construct and execute test scripts.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server databases.
• Develop, maintain and execute test scripts; Azure/TFS integration experience is a plus.
• Generate comprehensive test reports.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tool.
• Maintain automation testing framework.
• Work in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, and Product Owners to shift-left testing.
• Prioritize and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Build test plans, test suites, and manual/automated test cases for changes.
• Communicate effectively with team members, PMs and clients.

• QA Automation Lead design automated tests to validate the functionality of web and mobile applications.
• Test application functionality end to end, automate regression test suite and report the results.

• Proficient in working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Test Script development, maintenance & execution. Experience with Azure/TFS Integration is a plus.
