Job summary

Service Trucks International (STI) in Iowa is seeking a Lead Purchasing Agent to guide the purchasing team, ensuring materials arrive on time, at the right cost, and at the highest quality to keep production moving smoothly. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and scheduling, manage vendor relationships and POs, and maintain accurate databases.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing purchasing experience, solid ERP and MS Office skills, and strong communication abilities for

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of purchasing/supply chain experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in manufacturing purchasing or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (TCM preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to write procedures and communicate clearly across teams.
• Understanding of blueprints, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
• Solid math and analytical skills (costing, quantities, conversions).
• Experience with global supply chain and vendor management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers, solicit quotes, and build strong vendor relationships

Salary: $26 - $33 per hour
