National Jewish Health in Denver is seeking a skilled Pulmonary Physiology Specialist to perform high quality pulmonary testing under ATS/AARC/CAP standards. You will train technicians, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold top patient care.

The role requires NBRC credentials, relevant respiratory therapy education, and a current Colorado license, with strong patient relations and teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• NBRC credentials and current Colorado license to practice respiratory care required.
• 2 years related experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality pulmonary physiology testing per ATS/AARC/CAP standards.
• Guide and mentor less experienced staff to ensure quality exams.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately.
• Participate in quality improvements and monitor test results.
• Operate and maintain equipment per safety policies.
• Ensure ongoing credential requirements are met.
