Qualifications

  • Respiratory therapy certification or higher degree.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a pulmonary function lab.
  • CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Credentialing through NBRC as a respiratory care practitioner or pulmonary function technologist, with ongoing certification maintained.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED with respiratory therapy certification, or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health sciences or biology; at least 1 year of experience in a pulmonary function lab; CPR (BLS) certification; credentialing through N.B.R.C. as a respiratory care practitioner or pulmonary function technologist, with ongoing certification maintained.

Strong clinical skills in pulmonary and cardiac testing; ability to work independently; knowledge of quality assurance; troubleshooting proficiency; commitment to continuing education; adherence to regulatory standards; excellent communication and training skills.
