Job summary

Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH seeks an Associate Director for Public Programs and Engagement to lead a portfolio of high-profile events and programs that advance Dickey Center priorities and enhance visibility.

Reporting to the Dickey Center Director, this role partners across the Center, Dartmouth, and external partners to translate priorities into engaging programs, formats, and experiences for diverse audiences while coordinating with senior leaders, vendors, and campus teams.

Qualifications

• Six to ten years of progressively responsible experience in strategic event planning or public programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of high-profile programs and events.
• Coordinate with internal teams, campus partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage event budgets, vendor agreements, and timelines.
• Establish program assessment practices to measure reach and impact.
• Supervise staff within the events team and provide strategic direction.
