Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters plus 6 or more years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, or other relevant field.
• Six to nine years of relevant experience in the public health field.
• Demonstrated experience directing or managing a multi-faceted program, preferably in academia.
• Supervisory experience, with ability to manage others and work well in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong reasoning, judgment, decision-making, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with scientists, clinicians, administration, and community members/representatives.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develops an ambitious strategic and operational plan for the COE.
• Oversees the COE team in implementing outreach strategies and infrastructure.
• Directs staff, volunteers, interns, and temporary help; fosters accountability and high productivity.
• Builds partnerships with DCC faculty, clinicians, and community members/organizations.
• Establishes metrics to evaluate COE strategies and infrastructure.
• Coordinates budget for outreach activities and pursues external funding.
• Maintains professionalism and inclusivity within the team and community.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
