Qualifications

• Degree in Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy and/or Physical/Occupational Therapy Assisting.
• Valid state licensure as PT/OT/SLP and/or PTA/COTA, or license eligible.
• 3–5 years of clinical rehabilitation experience.
• Supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and supervise clinical therapy staff, including hiring, performance appraisals, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
• Maintain a clinical caseload and ensure the delivery of high-quality therapy services in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop strategies to expand therapy programs, including building caseloads and implementing initiatives like fitness or dementia programs.
• Oversee scheduling of patients and therapists to ensure adequate coverage.
• Investigate and resolve patient, staff, or service-related issues, ensuring open communication and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA standards, and other safety guidelines.
