Job summary

Requires an Ohio RN license and 2+ years in psychiatric nursing or developmental disabilities care; offers full-time work, varied hours, and state pay scale compensation in Gallipolis, OH.

Qualifications

• Requires licensed registered nurse in Ohio.
• 2 years experience in psychiatric nursing or development disabilities nursing.
• 3 months training or experience in employee training & development.
• 3 courses or 9 months experience in public relations.
• 3 courses or 9 months experience in counseling.
• Equivalent may substitute experience but not licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing services for designated area on one or more assigned shifts.
• Coordinates assessments, planning, evaluation, delivery of psychiatric and medical nursing.
• Evaluates care of patients/consumers.
• Assists in planning nursing policies and procedures.
• Monitors nursing activities to ensure compliance.
• Coordinates staffing schedules and authorizes overtime.
• Liaises between nursing/medical and other disciplines.
