Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required from an ABET accredited institution.
  • 7–10 years of experience with protection and control schemes.
  • Experience with study software and analysis of waveforms and sequence of event reports.
  • Ability to travel up to 10–20%.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of calculating settings for electromechanical, solid state, and microprocessor protection devices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide relay settings, event analysis, system studies services, and engineering consulting for electric utility projects.
  • Lead projects and direct subordinate engineers on assigned tasks.
  • Review drawings and provide redline markups for protection and control drawings.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Assist in development of estimates for client proposals.
