Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school with a license to practice in Texas.
• Two years and six months of legal experience.
• Experience as lead prosecutor for felony offenses or extensive appellate work is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate criminal complaints to decide prosecution or rejection and determine charges.
• Conduct legal research, interview witnesses, gather evidence, and decide actions.
• Draft motions, briefs and documents for trial or hearings and manage case schedules.
