Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with controls and automation (DCS/PLC/SCADA) systems.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Prepare DCS proposals for new generation power projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to developing proposal engineers.
• Perform review of customer specifications and ensure compliance.
• Define proposal strategies aligned with customer specs and organizational goals.
• Collaborate across teams to validate feasibility, requirements, and cost-efficiency.
• Engage directly with customers to communicate Emerson’s capabilities and needs.
• Develop optimal project cost structures to mitigate risk and strengthen position.
• Support presentations, interviews, and negotiations with customers.
• Partner with sales, engineering, project teams, and global offices to deliver cohesive proposals.
