Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Proposals Engineer - Hydro to lead the creation of competitive proposals for North America renewable energy control systems, with a primary focus in hydroelectric power. You will architect solutions from both a technical and commercial perspective, including written proposals and accompanying cost estimates.

This role will support our Power and Water Solutions business and may be located in Blue Bell, PA; Cranberry Township, PA; Amherst, WI; or Novi, MI.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, computer science or related STEM field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in proposals or engineering.
• Experience with control systems (PLC/DCS/SCADA) and renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling control system proposals for hydro projects.
• Prepare cost estimates and best-cost solutions for customers.
• Coordinate a global team to support proposal development and execution readiness.
• Present costs, risks, and differentiators to decision-makers.
