Job summary

R & K Interests, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician responsible for carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and appliance installations to maintain and improve property functionality.

You will receive work orders, prioritize tasks, and supervise a daily team while coordinating with management. A high school diploma and 5 years of related experience are required; make-ready experience preferred; the position is full-time and in-person, Monday to Friday with on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Make ready experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs carpentry, electrical, basic plumbing, and installation of appliances and fixtures in property.
• Receives work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
• Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.
• Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, patching materials, and concrete.
• Operates pressure wash equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
• Maintains and repairs plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems; replaces worn parts.
• Installs light fixtures and power outlets; maintains wood parts of buildings.
• Replaces worn parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
• Assists with moving furniture and unloading/storing supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Education

High school diploma or GED
