Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma, at least one year in property management or related field, and experience with boilers and chillers.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
• Experience with boilers and chillers required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.

Responsibilities

• Address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager.
• Maintain the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal of the assigned property.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines.
• Perform general carpentry duties including wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure orders are completed to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues needing maintenance.
