Job summary

Terratron, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to keep our Rochester property operating safely and smoothly.

You will oversee engineering operations, preventative maintenance, energy management, asset protection, and emergency programs while coordinating with other departments. The role requires inspecting and repairing systems, reporting safety concerns, training staff, and maintaining logs and inventories.

Qualifications

• Reliable, self-motivated, and responsible time management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to business needs.
• Ability to obtain necessary certifications where required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and 20 pounds overhead where required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment, components, systems, grounds, guest areas, public areas, and assets.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and emergency response.
• Respond to guest, resident, tenant, customer, or associate concerns with urgency and professionalism.
• Patrol property grounds and event areas as assigned.
• Report safety concerns and maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep logs, checklists, and inventories up to date.
