Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking a Lead Prompt Engineer & Applied AI Architect to design and scale AI-powered coaching and simulation experiences using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and prompt engineering.

You will lead prompts, RAG frameworks, and AI workflows, partnering with cross-functional teams to create multi-agent training scenarios, governance standards, and production-ready solutions. Proficiency in Python and OpenAI ecosystems is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in AI/ML/NLP or related fields.
• 4+ years with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Proven experience leading AI initiatives or teams.
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Ollama, Anthropic, or similar ecosystems.

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Lead Prompt Engineer & Applied AI Architect.

What You Will Be Doing:

In this role within the AI and product development team, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of prompts, RAG frameworks, and AI workflows for coaching and simulation solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to create multiple personas and multi-agent interactions that support realistic training scenarios. You will establish prompt engineering standards, evaluation methods, and governance practices across projects. Daily, you will analyze model outputs to enhance reasoning, accuracy, and user experience, while continuously exploring emerging AI technologies to improve platform capabilities. You will develop and fine-tune AI and machine learning models for generative applications, manage version control for prompts and models, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deploy AI features into production. Additionally, you will mentor team members and provide technical leadership to promote AI best practices, all while ensuring safety, fairness, and performance are maintained at scale across solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of prompts, RAG frameworks, and AI workflows for coaching and simulation applications.
• Develop multiple AI personas and multi-agent interactions to create realistic training scenarios.
• Define and enforce prompt engineering standards, evaluation criteria, and governance practices.
• Analyze and improve model outputs to enhance reasoning, accuracy, and user satisfaction.
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI models, frameworks, and tools to expand platform capabilities and team productivity.
• Develop and fine-tune AI/ML models for generative, nature language processing applications.
• Manage version control for prompts, models, and configurations to ensure consistency and traceability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer success teams to deploy AI solutions into production environments.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership on AI development best practices.
• Monitor AI system safety, bias, fairness, and reliability, implementing improvements as needed at scale.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in AI, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), or related fields.
• 4+ years of hands-on work with large language models (LLM), prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
• Proven experience leading technical initiatives, AI teams, or defining AI strategies.
• Practical experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Ollama, Anthropic, or similar AI ecosystems.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI.
• Strong proficiency in Python and applied AI development.
• Passion for AI innovation and translating emerging technologies into business solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related discipline; advanced degrees preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in AI for training, simulation, or coaching industries.
• Knowledge of AI safety, bias mitigation, and fairness principles.
• Certifications in AI or cloud-based AI platforms.
• Exposure to leadership roles, mentoring, or team management.

Pay:

$77.00 - $110.00 /hr
