Job summary

Nexans, a leader in power transmission, seeks a Specialist Project Planner to drive scheduling excellence across EPC/EPCI and offshore projects. You will mentor planning teams and work with project managers, clients, and suppliers in a global setting.

The role requires expert planning skills, experience (>10 years), and fluency in English; Norwegian is advantageous. Location: Oslo / Paris / Edinburgh or other locations.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent relevant competence.
• Expert-level competence within project planning and scheduling.
• Typically more than 10 years of experience as Project Planner in relevant sectors.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and related planning tools.
• Fluent English; Norwegian is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable and high-quality schedules for strategic and complex projects.
• Ensure proactive planning follow-up and timely reporting across projects and tenders.
• Strengthen planning discipline, competence, and consistency across the organization.
• Support successful project delivery through expert planning leadership and collaboration.
• Act as a trusted advisor and technical authority within the planning community.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across project planning activities.
