Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services seeks a Project Manager to lead planning, organization, direction, and oversight of construction activities for electronic security system installations.

You’ll manage resources, schedules, budgets, and subcontractors while coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure successful project delivery across diverse environments. Travel up to 90% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred in engineering/construction management.
• Minimum of three years in project management within construction, security integration, or mission-critical environments.
• Two years of experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and SCIF construction.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret or higher).
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills; ability to manage delivery timeframes.
• Experience managing multiple projects (portfolio) of at least $1M, independently meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with PM techniques, contract laws, and MS Office; BI tools for metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, organization, direction, and oversight of installation projects.
• Manage resources, scheduling, and budget tracking using ERP/PM tools.
• Supervise installation teams and subcontractors for quality delivery.
• Coordinate engineering, installation, and subcontracting across large projects.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to align goals and timelines.
• Implement change orders and adjust installation plans and pricing as needed.
• Resolve issues using financial, contractual, and operational tools to protect profitability.
• Conduct site walks, attend customer meetings, and provide project status updates.
