Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior project manager to lead electrical and automation programs with capital contracts over $1M. You will oversee matrix teams, coordinate cross-functional resources, and ensure contractual commitments are met.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of PM experience in relevant sectors, and strong negotiation/financial skills, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent via education/work experience
• 2+ years PM experience in electrical and automation systems across industrial sectors with contracts >$1M
• Strong commercial negotiation skills
• Strong financial acumen for business decisions
• Proven client, supplier, and internal stakeholder relationship management
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities
• Continuous improvement in responsibilities
• Proficiency with MS Office suite
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time
• Preferred: 5+ years PM experience and PMP certification
• Preferred: Experience leading matrix teams
• Preferred: Knowledge of Oracle, Oracle BI, CRM

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage matrix teams to complete project execution over 1–2 year cycles
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams including parent company resources and suppliers
• Ensure client contractual commitments are met
• Implement risk assessment and abatement plans to meet budgets
• Serve as single point of contact for clients on assigned projects
• Identify and resolve client issues and escalate as needed
• Collect, analyze, and report project data to management
• Provide updates on performance, processes, market trends, and client relations
• Identify opportunities and improve sales and project execution processes
• Maintain records of communications, variations, and activities
• Collaborate across organizations and comply with policies
