Jobtailor is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead small- to mid-scale construction initiatives, from initiation through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience, a Bachelor's in a related field, strong financial acumen, proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools, and willingness to travel up to 25%. You'll coordinate vendors, chair meetings, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, architecture, engineering, real estate, business or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive experience in PM, CM, or owner's representation with independent initiation to closeout.
• Proven track record managing small to medium projects $250K–$1M with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Strong financial acumen including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to clients, senior stakeholders, and executives.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore or similar).
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium-scale projects independently from initiation through closeout, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction; support senior PMs on larger regional projects.
• Develop charters, schedules, and work breakdown structures; manage critical path; conduct site visits and deliver closeout packages.
• Procure and manage general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors; negotiate contracts within authority; maintain vendor performance databases.
• Chair project meetings; prepare agendas; drive action item resolution; manage change orders with stakeholder communication and approval.
• Develop and manage project budgets; monitor costs; process POs and invoices; prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts; manage contingencies.
• Serve as primary client contact; build relationships through proactive communication; deliver status reports and presentations.
• Maintain organized project files; manage document distribution and tracking; ensure compliance with standards and codes.
• Own defined phases within larger projects; participate in design reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments.
• Participate in coaching sessions with senior PMs to learn and grow towards senior responsibilities.
